ABOUT US

Ferretworld was started way back in 1997 by Simon and family, first operating from home and then based in Kinver, Staffs as the only ferret shop in Great Britain. Our ferret products website won three E-Commerce Awards in 2001, 2003 and 2004.
During the early years more and more shows that we were attending, as traders, were asking Simon to give talks on the ferret and it's history. Simon had his first ferret at the age of 9 so has a long connection with these wonderful animals.
As the talks developed the Ferretworld Roadshow was born, the first Ferret Roadshow of it's kind in the country. During the coming years, the Roadshow became a greater part of our business, appearing at shows up and down the countryside as well as schools and village fetes. Demand increased for our unique entertaining and amusing Roadshow and we now have Roadshow 2 and Roadshow 3 out there to entertain.
Ferretworld has appeared on TV and the radio many times, on Richard and Judy, Blue Peter, CBBC Xchange, Heart of the Country and The 5 o'clock Show plus many more. We have a large portfolio of appearances from Children's TV to Documentaries. We have made Commercials with our ferrets and have also used them to launch new products for small and large companies.
As part of the Roadshow there is also the "Talk" side, introducing children and adults alike to the history of ferrets, their origin and their welfare, with the main emphasis being on fun. This is done in the classroom, a sports field or a community centre or at your local club. In fact - anywhere !

The E-Commerce side has taken a break over the past couple of years but Simon is re-gearing production and manufacturing ferret products from food to treats and bedding to toys.

The Ferretworld Roadshow appears at many venues throughout the year. Take a look at our Show Dates page. Maybe you would like us to appear at your function? Well, just give us a call on 01299 250793 or 07548351814. Or drop us a line on the Contacts page.
