The Medieval Warrener
with
Ferret World
Our Medieval Warrener Re-Enactment brings History to life.
The new addition to our repertoire is the Medieval Warrener.
This brings the daily chores of the Warrener and his family to life. From the dress of the 11th to 13th Century the Bishop family tell of the different methods that ferrets and rabbits have been looked after through the ages. What we ate, how we lived up to modern times is all told along with our " Warren" by the side of our marquee. Here the younger members of our audience can play or race the ferret.
Experienced at providing enriching, educational animal experiences at events including the Big Bang 2017 NEC, Countryside Learning and Countryside Days, the benefits of our displays and our school visits are significant.
Our Medieval Warrener school workshops can be tailored to meet your school curriculum.
Discovering the world of the Medieval Warrener and workers children can learn about their dress, their daily lives and the ways that looking after ferrets and rabbits has changed over the centuries.
